Over 10,000 people die each year from cardiovascular disease in Ireland with approximately half of those deaths estimated to be caused by sudden cardiac arrest. A vast majority of cardiac arrests happen out of the hospital setting and usually in close proximity to a friend or a family member. Our course aims to provide students with the ability to recognise and treat immediately life-threatening conditions such as Heart Attack, Cardiac Arrest, Stroke or Choking.
The course is run over a 4 hour duration and puts emphasis is on maximum practical skills training as well as learning the theory behind why these conditions happen.

Course Requirements: There are no previous requisites for this course, it is suited towards anyone who would like to learn basic lifesaving techniques.
