Fire Warden
Course duration: 1 day – 3.5 hours
Overall fire safety is the responsibility of employers and property owners. A competent person should be appointed to assist in the implementation of fire safety procedures. This can include people referred to as fire wardens or fire officers/marshals. Our Fire Warden course covers what to do in an emergency and explains how a fire wardens spots and deals with fire hazards under normal circumstances, to make a fire less likely, and to ensure that in the event of a fire, exit routes are kept clear.
At the end of this course, you will know your duties as a Fire Warden and the actions to be followed during a fire or an emergency. This course will also provide you with the skills to recognise the importance of fire prevention and how to implement a fire prevention ethos within the workplace.
The course will also explain Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP), fire drills etc.
