Service Description

This course is regulated by Ofqual and is designed for individuals interested in working alongside paramedics as part of the ambulance service. This course will provide the learner with all the necessary skills and knowledge on how to manage a variety of emergencies appropriately such as trauma injury and management, patient assessment, working with paediatric and elderly patients and medicines management to name a few. These skills are put into practice through a 450-hour clinical placement with one of our partner ambulance services and are consistently assessed by one of our competent medical practitioners. Following the successful completion of this course, the learner will be qualified as an Emergency Care Assistant (ECA). Please note, that before applying, be over 18 years of age
