COVID-19 Compliance Officer Training

Service Description

This course is designed to assist appointed Covid 19 Compliance Officers in the workplace. As part of comprehensive business continuity, the course gives an overview of the Return to Work Safely Protocol guidance document issued by the Government of Ireland. This sets out how to identify requirements, plan and implement processes and monitor adherence to the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and management of a suspected case. This course is suited to Managers, Lead worker representatives and COVID compliance officers who have been appointed in the workplace to design and implement their Return to Work Plans including hygiene and respiratory arrangements, social distancing, close working, PPE and dealing with a possible COVID-19 case. Courses will include: • What is Coronavirus (COVID-19)? • Factors involved in the spread of the virus • (COVID-19) Facts and Figures • Symptoms of (COVID-19) • What documents need updating? • Pre-planning of works • Work activities • Travelling to and from work (cars, vans, buses etc) • Prevention of cross contamination (COVID-19) • (COVID-19) Compliance Officer roles and duties (daily proactive and reactive) • Welfare Facilities (canteen, toilets, drying rooms etc) • Work offices and spaces • Walkways within the workplace • First Aid Recommendations • (COVID-19) PPE Requirements • Meeting requirements • Delivery requirements • Returning to work after COVID-19 virus • Cleaning of contaminated areas (confirmed and suspected cases) The course has a maximum of 15 students per class.
