First Responder Emergency Care Level 3

Service Description

This course is a next step qualification from FREC 3 and is the equivalent of an Emergency Care Assistant (ECA). This is a Ofqual regulated qualification which is designed for individuals that already have background knowledge into pre-hospital emergency care and want to further develop their knowledge and skills in a variety of pre-hospital care emergencies such as: major incidents, paediatrics, CPR and using immobilisation and extraction equipment to name a few. NEMC has the most qualified and experienced medical practitioners that deliver the practical elements in a real-life setting to further improve the learner’s experience in competently managing emergencies that could occur while working for the ambulance service or the public sector that requires medical cover. Additionally, this qualification can be used to form a series of pre-hospital care qualifications for the QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF).
